First of all, if you are under an exisiting lease, it will automatically convert to a month-to-month tenancy if nothing else is done.
Should you wish to have an extension for a specific additional term (e.g. 1 year), please contact the property management company in writing with your request for said extension. It is generally best to do so approximately 45 – 60 days in advance of the end of the existing lease term.
Upon receipt of your request, we will contact the Landlord for comment and/or approval. If approved, the property management company will prepare a lease modification for signature and will also let the Tenant know of any other conditions.
