Our real estate company was founded in 1980 by Homer and Nora Pryor who wanted to create a real estate company to meet the needs of consumers in both Central and the growing Eastern areas of Contra Costa County. Their goal was to provide quality service and value to their customers using family values such as honesty, integrity and attention to detail. Today, after more than 30 years, First Realty / Pryor & Associates continues to strive for and attain that same goal.
Our property management department was founded in 1982 as a result of trying to help our clients who could not sell, in what was then a 16 – 18% market, but who still needed to do something to protect their real property assets. We have been successfully assisting landlords with their residential rental need sever since.
We are a locally owned company, so decisions are made right here. We live here, work here, and raise our families here. Our Realtors® are active in the community. We invest our time and money in Contra Costa County and are committed to helping build a great community and a great place to live – for our customers and ourselves!
Mark Pryor is a native Californian who has lived in Contra Costa County since 1963. He is a graduate of St. Mary's College of Moraga and has worked as a teacher, real estate analyst and appraiser. Mark has been a full time licensed Realtor® since 1980 and has been a successful property manager for over 40 years.
